SERVICES
A number of NHS services are provided by our surgery, should you require them.
Please see our Practice Leaflet, downloadable above, for more information.
Prescriptions
Prescription medication may be provided if our doctor deems it necessary. Remember to always finish any prescribed course completely to ensure the problem has been fully treated successfully.
Clinics
Our staff run for a range of clinics during the week. These include clinics for diabetes, asthma, COPD, coronary heart disease, smoking cessation, antenatal care, and childhood immunization, among others. The practice will usually contact you with regards to these but if you feel that you are overdue an appointment, please contact reception.
Appointments
Telephone and face to face appointments may be booked by contacting our reception by phoning from 0830 each morning. Each slot is 10 minutes long, and can cater to up to one or two issues. Like most practices we are extremely busy and demand for appointments is high especially on Wednesday's when the practice is closed in the afternoon. Appointments are usually full by 0900. You may have to redial a number of times to connect to a receptionist. Appointments go quickly and you may have to try another day if all appointments are gone. If you have a genuine emergency or problem that cannot wait please inform receptionist. We reserve some slots for urgent appointments, which will be given to genuine emergency cases. There is no personal choice of GP for emergency appointments.
